Klopp shares about Salah and Mane
Recently, Liverpool have been trying to convince Mohamed Salah to put pen to paper on a new contract. In the context that the contract between the two sides is only valid until the summer of 2023, it is understandable that The Kop’s current priority is to tie the Egyptian star.
In fact, Salah is not the only Liverpool player whose contract expires in June 2023. Typically the case of Sadio Mane, who has performed even better than Salah in recent times. However, there is still no information that The Kop has implemented a plan to extend the contract with this striker.
On the contrary, as revealed by Goal (sourced by BBC), Liverpool are also planning to replace Mane with another star. More specifically, this source claims that The Kop has added Arnaut Danjuma to their target list , but in the immediate future, they will not make any moves before the summer of 2023.
Danjuma is probably no longer a strange name to the fans, he just scored the only goal to help Villarreal defeat Bayern Munich in the Champions League last night. Currently, Danjuma is valued at about 50 million euros by Transfermarkt, and his contract with Villarreal is still valid until 2026.
