Goalkeeper Ben Foster appreciates the talent of midfielder Anderson – his teammate at Manchester United.

Performance of Paul Pogba

Anderson is one of Manchester United’s notable signings during the reign of Sir Alex Ferguson. He was with the Red Devils for 8 seasons (from 2007 to 2015). However, with persistent injuries, the Brazilian midfielder did not leave many marks and could not meet the expectations of the NHM.

Recently, on the UTD Podcast, goalkeeper Ben Foster shared about his former team-mate: “He was capable of becoming the best player in the world at one point in the past, I assure you. you that he can.

Anderson was once expected to shine in a Man Utd shirt.

People talked a lot but Anderson didn’t care. He doesn’t care about anything . Don’t give it your all and just go on the field. Then the performance as you see it.

Same goes for Carlos Tevez. Get him on the pitch and my God. Surely those things are typical of South American players, it’s always in them.”

After leaving Man Utd, Anderson returned to Brazil to join Internacional, then Coritiba (on loan) and Adana Demirspor. The last part of his career did not have many marks. The ups and downs made the former Porto star only play for the Brazilian national team in the 2007-2008 period.
