The Golden Eagles moved to 2-0 thanks to Lazar Hayward’s career-high 28 points. Dwight Buycks started at point guard, but there is much more to this Marquette offense than one starting point guard.

He took time to interview with me, and talked about the signging process, his relationship with Buzz Williams, and the schools he turned down in favor of Marquette.

The Golden Eagles handily won their exhibition opener Saturday afternoon, with eleven of twelve healthy players scoring. They defeated MSOE, 106-47. Lazar Hayward paced all scorers with 24 points on 8 of 10 shooting.
