Marquette Edges Villanova, 82-78

Marquette Finds Rhythm, Beats Louisville 74-63

Marquette Dodges Pittsburgh, 62-57

Chris Otule will not be returning this season at Marquette. Otule, who injured his knee in the Jimmy V Classic vs. Washington, will have surgery on Tuesday to repair his injured knee. Buzz Williams was brief in his comments tonight and said that this was the right move for Chris’ career and the remainder of his life.

Marquette Cannot Stay With Syracuse, Loses 73-66

For the second straight year, Marquette fell to the #1 ranked team in the country. Last year, it was the Duke Blue Devils, in a game where the Golden Eagles played consistently but could not garner enough momentum to win. This year, it was the Syracuse Orange and the game could not have been more different.

Marquette only scored 19 points in the first half, but came out in the second half reinvigorated, but fell in the final minutes, 73-66. Tess Quinlan was at the Carrier Dome for the disappointing loss.

After Late Surge, Marquette Falls To Georgetown, 73-70.

Marquette Finds Success Against Villanova, 81-77

#11 Marquette Crushes Northern Colorado

After wrapping up their final exams, #11 Marquette came out strong against Northern Colorado. Senior Darius Johnson-Odom did not play due to a violation of team rules, but that did not phase the Golden Eagles. In his first career start, freshman Todd Mayo had a phenomenal day, scoring 22 points.

The Golden Eagles, who are ranked #11th in the country, are 10-0 for the first time since 2001-2002. Marquette travels down south to Baton Rouge to take on LSU tomorrow.
