Marquette Volleyball Wins the MU Invitational

After four strong victories in a matter of two days, the Marquette University Volleyball team won the MU Invitational. Ciara Jones was named the Tournament’s MVP, and spoke to MUTVSports reporter Adam Sharrett following the final victory over Austin Peay.

Marquette Volleyball Defeats Butler

In the second match of the Marquette Invitational on Friday, Beccka Gonyo had 17 kills to lead the Golden Eagles over Butler in front of a rowdy crowd. I talked to Gonyo and Leslie Bielski after the match and they said they loved playing with the huge crowd on their side.

Marquette Volleyball Defeats Texas St.

The Marquette Women’s Volleyball team gave new Head Coach Bond Shymansky his first win at the Al McGuire Center Friday afternoon. The Golden Eagles took down the Texas State Bobcats in five sets.
